6 BOULANGER-BAKER - PRODUCTION WORKERS
Job description
Missions :
The production worker would be assigned a variety of different tasks and would report directly to the Production Manager / Supervisors while taking specific direction including coaching/training and mentoring throughout the shift from a Level II or III Production Worker.

The various tasks performed by the Level II
Production Worker include:
- Oven Operator
- Bread Divider Operator
- Hearth Bagger Operator KLR
- Muffin Bagger Operator
- Muffin Divider Operator
- Roll Divider Operator
- Oven Operator
- Bread Divider Operator
- Hearth Bagger Operator KLR
- Muffin Bagger Operator
- Muffin Divider Operator
- Roll Divider Operator
Additionally the Level II Production Worker
should be able to do (if required) tasks performed by Level I Production
Workers which include:
- Bread Bagger / Packer
- Bread Pan Feeder
- Hearth Bagger Packer KLR
- Roll Bagger / Scrambler
- Roll Line Racker
- Roll Pan / Feeder
- Muffin Bagger Packer
- Bread Bagger / Packer
- Bread Pan Feeder
- Hearth Bagger Packer KLR

Note: It is
an expectation that a Level II Production Worker is to recognize and understand
overall production requirements. Another expectation is to assume more
responsibilities by coaching/training and mentoring Level I Production Workers.
Level II Production Workers must be willing and adaptable to learn new skills, knowledge and technology. For example, all Level II’s must be familiar with the operation of screens and programs of Toolbox.
A logical career or job progression would be to learn and eventually take on the tasks of the Level III Production Worker.

Working Conditions
Indoor industrial work settingOvertime may be required for two main reasons. First of all, product must continually flow through production to meet production levels/customer demand; and secondly, product is produced on a daily basis and since the product is perishable with a short shelf life, it may require the need to work longer during a work shift.
Shift time may have variable hours given the nature of the business and the need to respond quickly to customer orders
Requires physical exertion including standing for long periods of time; may be
required to lift heavy items
