Reefer

Poste:
- Performs trouble-shooting and
repair services for refrigerated containers.
- Perform the repair of any
malfunction reefer on the vessel.
- Perform the repair of any
malfunction reefer in the yard.
- Perform the PTI process
requested by the customer of any reefer container.
Accountabilities:
- Inspects the refrigerated
containers (“reefers”) on board the vessel or in the yard for any
discrepancies between actual settings and the manifest requirements.
Corrects discrepancies & clears alarms when appropriate.
- Repairs a malfunctioning reefer
in the workshop, including diagnosing problem and determining what repair
work is necessary.
- Calibrates reefer probes.
- Reprograms reefer processor.
- Dismounts compressor, opens

This
position is responsible to provide single point of testing management for
performing Q&A testing on the terminal to different internal costumers.
The Quality
Manager will manage and coordinate the execution and validation of the test
procedures for Q&A testing with live equipment in the terminal, testing the
equipment as a standalone project and with commissioned equipment, IT
integrated, TOS, GOS, M2M (BMS, TLS, ACL, etc) and other terminal systems to

- The operations planner is

Accountabilities:
- Ensure all lashing equipment
necessary to work vessel is ready prior to beginning cargo operations, and
stored safely after completion of Operations.

lashing/unlashing operations are carried out in a good time, according to

end of operation of each DSTS.

and BB operations as well as for the all special handling on the terminal.

- Ensures that the maintenance,
breakdown services and or remedial works of CHE are maintained in a
cost-effective manner, with consideration of max reliability and
availability of the equipment
- Ensure that emergency work is
followed up by reporting to Shift engineer.
- To carry out maintenance
repairs, Breakdowns, Inspections and monitoring for the Terminal Equipment
- Assume additional responsibility
for maintenance in the absence of Shift engineer.
- Ensure tidiness and cleanliness
of workshop facilities and all equipment
- Submit routine and critical
inspections and monitoring reports by ensuring accurate and updated
information.
- Ensure work in conformity with
safety rules and regulations
- Carry out those duties assigned
by the Shift engineer.
- Provides complete and accurate reports
to Shift engineer.
- Ability to learn and perform
other related activities.

QUALIFICATION:
-Requires a
BAC + two and additional vocational/technical education – diploma in
Electrical (preferred Electro mechanic / Automation Any additional training in
PLC/Drives/Electrical fields in any heavy industries.
3-4 years relevant work experience in an industrial machinery environment – marine port terminal preferred.

Knowledge:
- Must be able to
replace/repair/adjust any major Electrical/Electronic parts such as
Motors, Transformers, Drives, PLC…etc.
- Able to interpret Electric,
Electronic, PLC diagrams.
- Familiarized with
instrumentation and special tools.
- Able to interpret engineering
drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Knowledge of general supervisory
principles is an advantage
- Must have a cordial working
relationship and effective communication skills with other staff
- Must be able to exercise good
judgment in order to set priorities
Ability:
- Works shift working hours
- Maintains high energy levels
over long periods of time
- Requires provisional verbal and
written communications skills in English, Computer & Software skills
in addition to interpersonal skills.
